Hello and welcome to Specialized Heart Care. In reading this, I hope you can make a connection with my life's journey and passion to help every ailing heart.
I graduated from the 6 year BA/MD program at University of Missouri in Kansas City with clinical honors. I knew early on in medical school that I needed to learn everything about the beating heart. I pursued my Internal Medicine training at Rush - St Luke's in Chicago. In residency, I was introduced the world of cardiology and soon found a passion to fix the broken heart. This led me to Washington University School of Medicine (WashU) for fellowships in Cardiology, Advanced Heart Failure and Interventional Cardiology. Then in 2006, my wife and I moved to Dallas. Fast forward 16+ years and Specialized Heart Care is a culmination of all the knowledge I have gained since medical school combined with compassion.
Specialized Heart Care is all encompassing and can help diagnose and treat all aspects of heart disease. I am board certified in Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology and participating in the ABIM Maintenace of Certification.
Medicine has gone too algorithmic, and I do not believe one solution fits all. Our philosophy is simple; use cutting edge technology that individualizes cardiac care but practice medicine smarter with precision.
